Angler Hatch Survey

This survey is targeted towards experienced fly-anglers. In this survey, you will be asked about your observations of aquatic insects for research purposes. It has eleven questions and should take less than 5 minutes to finish. At the end of the survey, you will be asked if you would like to participate in a more in-depth, supplemental survey with eleven additional questions. All information and responses you supply will be kept anonymous, and you will not be subscribed for additional emails. After finishing, we ask that you distribute this survey as widely as possible.
.Do you fly fish?
.On average, how many times per year do you fly fish?
.How long have you been consistently (> 10 times per year) fly fishing?
.Do you fly fish primarily still waters or rivers/streams? Ocean/saltwater do not apply to this survey.
.Where do you fish the most? (Select one).
.Please honestly rate your knowledge of aquatic insect entomology.
.According to your observations and experience on the water, have insect hatches broadly changed within your most fished region since you began fishing that region?
.List the insect hatch you believe to be shifting in your region and use the phrase "increase" or "decrease" and indicate if the shift is "minor/moderate/strong".
.If applicable, please list specific hatches you believe to be shifting in emergence timing, and if the insect comes out earlier or later in the season.
.If applicable, select the environmental factor(s) you attribute to your observations of changing aquatic insect populations within your most fished region (select all that apply).
.What method do you primarily use for your observations of aquatic insect trends?
