Creation of a Rivers Trust for the River Barrow and its Catchment

Nore Vision are working to create a community-led Rivers Trust for the Barrow Catchment. This would bring together communities, landowners, organisations and agencies to protect the river and its catchment.

To mould an effective and impactful trust a series of stakeholder engagement actions are being carried out. This survey is part of the engagement programme. Other elements include workshops and focus groups.

The survey takes 3-5 minutes. Everything is anonymous and you don’t have to answer anything you don’t want to.
The proposed Rivers Trust for the Barrow is an initiative of Nore Vision. It has received funding from Kilkenny LEADER Partnership.

The Nore River Catchment Trust (Nore Vision) is dedicated to working to protect and care for the natural waters of the Nore Catchment. We collaborate with communities, landowners, organisations and agencies to develop a community led approach to protecting and restoring water quality in the Nore Catchment and working towards a vibrant river for all.
