EASO is conducting a research gap analysis for the wider obesity scientific research community, extending to related disease groups such as diabetes and cancer, and other health groups.

The primary purpose of this intelligence gathering is to influence the EU institutions on research topics which should be prioritised and funded, and the justification behind it.

Co-created recommendations will be produced through questionnaires, interviews, and online validation workshops. The report is expected in March 2021.

Advocacy sessions will also be scheduled to increase national capacity and awareness to engage with contact points involved in the European research agenda.

The deadline for responses is the 8 January 2021
