Student and Staff Access Survey-  Accessibility of buildings and services

SOAS has commissioned a professional audit report on accessibility of the buildings and services at the Russell Square campus. The buildings are: College and Philips Building, 21 Russell Square, 22 Russell Square, Faber Building, 53 Gordon Square, Brunei Gallery, Senate House (desktop review of five floor plans) and the External areas of these buildings.  The broad areas covered in this report include:

1. Entrance to the building

2. Vertical access

3. Emergency refuges and emergency egress information

4. Hearing Induction Loops

5. Toilets

6. Access to teaching /meeting rooms

7. External areas

We are interested to know what students and staff consider to be the priorities for improving accessibility and what might be regarded as areas of difficulty. Your feedback will be reported to the surveyor so that it can be included in the resulting action plan.

The Closing date for this survey is Wednesday 28th October 2015.
