1.WAC Research in Doral is recruiting participants for a research study on smoking. If you qualify for the research study, and you are able and interested in participating, you will be invited to participate in the study that lasts approximately 2 weeks. You will be scheduled for a 60 minute visit to our office in DORAL. At that time your eligibility will be confirmed and you will receive all instructions..

During the 2 week study, our office will provide you with an electronic cigarette (commonly known as an e-cigarette or vape) with disposable e-liquid cartridges to use or not at your will. The device and cartridges will come at no cost to you.

During the  2  weeks of the study, you will need to complete daily surveys in an electronic diary application to record all tobacco and nicotine products that you use. Our office will help you download the app to your smartphone. While you use the e-cigarette provided, information about your puffing behavior (number of puffs per day, length of each puff, and time between puffs) will be collected. You will be provided with a smartphone to transfer your puff data on a daily basis. The transfer of this data will be automatic once a button is clicked in the app.

This study will be running from the end of October through November. For participating in the 2 week study, you will receive $275.
