The Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI) is a state agency whose mission is to support the forest sector and the stewardship of natural resources by advancing Oregonians’ understanding of the social, environmental and economic benefits of our forests.
OFRI offers free education materials to help teach students about forests and natural resources. Our high school curriculum, Inside Oregon’s Forests, includes 12 weeks of hands-on lessons in which students explore the benefits of Oregon’s forests and learn about sustainable forest management. It is available online for free download.
We are currently considering ways to supplement Inside Oregon’s Forests to make it even more usable for educators. We would appreciate your feedback, even if you have never used our materials. We estimate that the survey will take about 5 minutes to complete.
Thank you for your time and for sharing your insights!
