AODA Transportation Standards Development – Options for Discussion |
CWDO Member Survey
Sam Savona is on the board for Citizens with Disabilities - Ontario (CWDO) and is a member of the AODA Transportation Standards Development Committee reporting to the provincial government. This committee has been asked to look at certain areas of this legislation to see if and how to improve it.
At its last meeting they looked at three areas: Travel Training, Support Person Identification, and How to educate the public about the dimensions of a mobility device which will be able to fit in a conventional bus.
Sam is seeking your input as a member of CWDO, in preparation for the next meeting of the AODA Transportation Standards Development Committee. There will be at least one other opportunity for community input before the committee makes its recommendations to the government.
