The National Infrastructure Awards recognise and celebrate excellence in project delivery and individual achievement across the infrastructure sector. The Awards reflect Infrastructure Partnerships Australia’s dedication to genuine collaboration and partnership between the public and private sectors to deliver infrastructure and drive reform for the national interest.

About the Women’s Achievement in Infrastructure Award

The Women's Achievement in Infrastructure Award recognises the success of a female who has made a significant contribution to the infrastructure sector. In particular acknowledging their contribution to a project, transaction, policy reform or advice during 2022 or recognising their consistent, valuable demonstration of leadership.

The winner of the Women’s Achievement in Infrastructure Award will be a significant contributor to the sector and will represent the impactful, unique, and critical role women play in advancing Australian infrastructure.
 
Eligibility

  • To qualify, the nominee must identify as female and have been contributing to the sector during 2022
  • All nominations must adhere to the word limits for each question. Any words submitted over the word limit will not be presented to the Judging Panel   

Recognition

  • This category has no finalists – highly commended individuals will be sent a letter of commendation by the Judging Panel after the announcement of the winner
  • The winner will be announced at the National Infrastructure Awards night on Thursday 27 April 2023 in Sydney

  • Nominations open – Wednesday 7 December 2022
  • Nominations close – 5.00pm Tuesday 7 February 2023
  • Judging Panel – Mid February
  • Winner announced – National Infrastructure Awards – Thursday 27 April 2023 Sydney

  • An outline of the nominee’s professional highlights and overall contribution to the sector
  • A specific example where the nominee demonstrated a significant contribution to a project, transaction, policy reform or advice during 2022
