Eligibility & What You Can Expect
The next Nonprofit Legal Audit Clinic will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The clinic will take place in person (Denver metro area), with a limited number of remote participation spots available for organizations located outside the Front Range.
Participation in the clinic requires three steps:

- Eligible organizations must:
- Have an annual budget of $750,000 or less
- Be a registered nonprofit in Colorado
- This application helps us determine your eligibility for the free clinic.
- Applicants will be notified if they have been accepted in early 2026
2. Participate in a brief intake/review call with a paralegal (January 2026).
- The paralegal will review your application, clarify your questions, and gather information to help us match your organization with a team of volunteer attorneys who have relevant expertise.
3. Attend the clinic on February 11, 2026 (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM).
- At least one representative from your organization must attend.
- Volunteer attorneys will provide a one-time legal health checkup tailored to your needs.
- Please note: the clinic cannot assist with litigation and attorneys will not provide ongoing representation after the event.
