2026 Virtual SEMM Conference - Call for Session Proposals

Proposal & Event Details

Thank you for your interest in submitting a session proposal. All presenters will receive a free registration to the event and a registration discount to share with their network.

If your initiative solved a problem for you, it will solve a problem for someone else. We value real-world fixes over polished perfection! Whether you’ve found a way to automate a manual workflow, redesigned a recruitment territory under new constraints, or kept engagement high during a period of change, your peers need to hear from you.

Need to Know
  • Event Date/Time: June 10-11, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (ET)
  • Length: 45 minutes (i.e. 30 min presentation + 15 min Q&A)
  • Platform: Sessions will take place via Zoom
  • Selection Criteria: We prioritize sessions that include interactive elements (polls, breakout rooms) and/or downloadable resources (checklists, templates, or process maps).
  • Submission Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2026
Note: If a submission is not accepted, all session proposal applicants will be able to register at the rate posted when the session submission was received (even if the posted rates have since increased).

Vendors/Service Providers
To ensure our sessions reflect a broad and balanced perspective, we ask that all post-secondary service/vendor-led presentations include a co-presenter from a post-secondary institution—unless the topic is based on independent research or instructional content that does not rely on your service or product. This helps us maintain the educational integrity of the program and ensures attendees receive content that is both informative and unbiased.

If you have any questions or a "rough draft" of an idea that you'd like feedback on, please email Jennifer Powell at jennifer@brainstorm.ca to discuss.
