Introduction

Demand for grass finished beef is exceeding the supply. There are currently three buyers and a fourth one ramping up marketing and pulling cattle out of southwestern Wisconsin.

We are trying to learn what major barriers and obstacles southwest Wisconsin beef producers are facing with regards to management and production of grass fed beef. We would greatly value your input which will help focus some of our future extension programs and projects to support the grass finished market.
