Registered Practical Nurse

Mobile Team, Vaccine Clinic and Rapid Antigen Testing

The RPN working at the Rapid testing and Vaccine Clinic will be scheduled to rotate in both Clinical areas to register, test, be in charge, and enact the role of a site lead.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Diploma of nursing from a recognized college.
Registration and in good standing with the College of Registered Practical Nurses of Ontario.
Holds current CPR and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certificate.
1 - 3 years demonstrated experience working as a Registered Practical Nurse in primary care and/or public health setting.
Community nursing background considered an asset.
Experience in Vaccination clinic or ability to perform Vaccination independently
Remuneration: $25.60 - $30.43 (Bargaining Unit: SEIU)

Additional Notes:

All job offers will require compliance with our COVID-19 Immunization Policy requiring all staff to either present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, or undergo rapid antigen testing twice per week.
Required to work at different locations to provide coverage as needed.
Flexibility in hours of work to provide extended hours of service including evenings and weekends.
All positions are 6 Month Full-Time Contracts (35 hrs/wk).
