There are two important public consultations currently underway.

▪ The States of Guernsey Tax Review Sub-committee has published a consultation seeking feedback on a range of corporate tax options under consideration, which can be found here.

▪ The Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) has launched a Digital Finance Consultation Paper, setting out proposals to support the adoption of digital finance across the Bailiwick’s financial services sectors, which can be found here.

This IOD member survey will help inform our response to the consultations, strengthen our advocacy on behalf of business leaders, and guide our collaborative efforts with key stakeholders.
We invite you to share your views below relating to the two consultations.

Corporate Tax Consultation
The consultation paper is issued by the Tax Review Sub-Committee on behalf of the Policy & Resources Committee and has been issued to seek feedback from stakeholders and individuals on corporate tax reform.

The consultation presents five possible options for corporate tax and sets out the context and considerations for tax reform.

This survey captures perspectives from members to inform the IoD’s response to the Tax Review Sub-Committee.

GFSC Digital Finance Consultation
The GFSC has issued a consultation on Supporting Growth with Digital Finance, covering areas including stablecoins, tokenisation, digital asset custody, and technology-enabled compliance.

This survey captures strategic, board-level perspectives from members to inform the IoD’s response to the GFSC. The questions focus on competitive positioning, market opportunities, capability gaps, and areas that may be missing or under-addressed in the proposals.
