CALL FOR SPEAKERS

2nd WORLD Supported Employment Conference
Sheraton Wall Centre,
Vancouver - BC, CANADA
June 8th - 10th, 2021
Conference Overview

The World Supported Employment Conference is the largest International event focusing on supported employment. This second world edition - first one being held in 2017 in Belfast Ireland -  is being hosted in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The conference is a unique forum to exchange about the challenges and opportunities related to supported employment (from both human resources and employment support points of view), to examine current trends, to learn about specific disabilities and available accommodation methods, as well as to share creative ideas and best practices.

The World Conference is presented jointly by the Canadian Association for Supported Employment(CASE), Inclusion BC and the BC Employment Network.

The conference will take place at the Vancouver Sheraton Wall Centre, from June 8th-10th 2021.

 As a Presenter, you will have the chance to:

·       Help bring further knowledge to the field of supported employment, for the benefit of all people with disabilities;
·       Share your best practices within provincial, national, international supported employment networks;
·       Present to major stakeholders and influencers, who may promote your work in their networks;
·       Reach out to 1 000 delegates specifically related to the field of supported employment;

Content priorities

Of the 1 000 expected delegates coming from all over the world, we estimate that 25% will be from the business sector and 75% will consist of the supported employment related fields.

Presentations should be focused on (but not limited to) sharing factual information or scientific data about:

   1. Best practices, innovation and challenges related to employment integration / business start-up (before, during and after) / or vocational training, and specifically geared to people with disabilities;

   2. Different types of disabilities, for a better understanding and better support;
