SWISS Broadband Summary

Many parts of SWISS counties lack affordable, reliable, high-speed broadband, particularly in rural, small communities, and low-income neighborhoods. This absence of an essential utility hampers access to education, healthcare, employment, economic growth, social connections, and more. Success would mean equitable, affordable, quality broadband access for SWISS residents, especially in underserved areas.

For this project, six problem statements were developed based on input from the elected Executives, Councilmembers, or Commissioners who comprise the SWISS membership. Please review the problem statements, answer a few questions for each, and prioritize them. This should take about 15 minutes and will be incredibly valuable to our meeting conversation.
