* 2. When FWCS closes due to weather conditions, please assist us in making the best decision to serve you better. We follow Fort Wayne Community Schools schedule however ALL youth are able to attend and participate in any of the programs we offer.

If made available, when FWCS is closed due to weather related conditions, from the 3 options below, what schedule and activity will you bring your children to the center to participate?

eLearning Lounge at Weisser Center (for Jennings and Weisser registered youth to participate) – Safe Haven to bring your youth to complete their day of eLearning. Youth bring their school issued devise and other materials. We will provide them with snacks, light lunch and Kids Café meal. eLearning Lounge (Weisser Park Youth Center) will be open from 9am – 3pm. After eLearning , from 3pm-5:30pm, the youth will enjoy engaging activities and recreation time. Youth MUST be picked up by 5:30pm.

Please note, the Community Youth Centers Coordinators are not teachers or tutors. They will assist with eLearning if they can.

We are responsible for providing a safe environment, engaging and interactive activities/programs and snacks/meal.

Community Youth Centers will open and close at the normal after school hours of 3pm to 7pm (Jennings and Weisser) – Youth enjoy recreational programs and activities. We will provide them with a snack and Kids Café meal.

No Center Attendance – If FWCS closes due to weather, my children will not attend.
