Wisconsin Breastfeeding Coalition - Coffective Mini-Grant Application

This grant of up to $500 dollars can be applied for by a local breastfeeding coalition with the assistance of strengthening breastfeeding pre-natal education and support in their community. The ultimate goal is to bring health care (hospital, prenatal clinics) together with community programs (ex: home visiting, WIC, health departments) and resources.  The grant money, along with Coffective materials can help to ensure that like breastfeeding messaging is provided to mom by all sources.   The WBC board will approve the applications and may elect to fully or partially fund a request.  Please contact Jen Ortner jennifer.ortner@wisconsin.gov  with any questions before completing the grant application.

Potential uses of the grant money:
  • The money could be used by a coalition to determine prenatal breastfeeding education needs of the community and if using Coffective resources would be helpful.
  • The money can assist in outreach to groups that provide prenatal services to mom and are not involved with the coalition ( ex: hospitals, prenatal clinics, home health agencies)
  • The money can be used to purchase Coffective tools
