ACTA, along with our coalition partners continue to advocate to the government the need for a Road Map to Recovery for our industry. Meanwhile, while travel restrictions remain in place, we are also explaining to the government the urgent need for enhanced and continued financial support for Travel Agencies, Travel Agents and Independent Travel Agents.

In this context, ACTA is conducting a survey directed to all travel agents, however most critical to Travel Agency Owners and Independent Travel Agents (ITAs). The brief survey focuses on the financial situation of your business, the need for various federal financial aid programs available to you, and a few questions specific to the Highly Affected Sectors Credit Availability Program (HASCAP) loan program.  Your responses will provide ACTA with a better understanding of the sustainability issues of our sector without continued and enhanced access to government relief programs both federally and provincially while travel restrictions remain in place. We are also working directly with the federal government on the HASCAP loan program, addressing concerns on a case-by-case basis. The government is motivated to see that this program is working for those it was intended for, the Hardest Hit businesses, and as such we have been contacted by senior directors in the federal government asking for additional feedback from our Members.

Please know that your individual responses will remain confidential. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, April 9, 2021 at 8:00 PM EST.

The survey has 19 questions and it should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Thank you for participating and assisting ACTA in our Advocacy efforts on your behalf.
