In an effort to support providers impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) made payments to Medicare providers through the Accelerated and Advance Payment Program (AAPP). Providers are required to repay any amounts received under the AAPP, unlike disbursements from the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund. However, CMS recently announced it will suspend the AAPP and no longer accept new applications.

Federal policymakers are debating whether to revamp the AAPP and/or provide relief to providers that received payments under the program. In order to ensure our federal advocacy strategy is aligned with ACOFP member priorities, please take a few minutes to respond to this short poll.
