Hello Prospective Partners,

The Aging Connect – Volunteer opportunities program has recently partnered with NY Cares and NYC service to provide partners with the opportunity to leverage community volunteers to assist with helping you serve the older adults in your community. What does it mean for you to have a New York Cares project?

·      Volunteers come trained and prepare to work (volunteers receive an hour training)
·      Volunteers must adhere to COVID-19 guidelines
·      A volunteer/team leader to manage the volunteers and their tasks
·      NY cares projects usually last from 2-3 hours per project

Please complete the following volunteer site request form.
Once received, the Manager of Volunteer Operations will contact you to discuss the opportunity.

PLEASE NOTE AS A PARTNER SITE YOU ARE REQUIRED TO  ADHERE TO THE COVID GUIDELINES,  PROVIDE THE NECESSARY SUPPLIES AND PARTNER WITH NEW YORK CARES  TO ENSURE A SAFE  VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENT.

If you have any questions, please contact Aging Connect at 212-244-6469 or volunteer@aging.nyc.gov Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm for assistance.

Thank you,
DFTA  Aging Connect Team
