NURSE CONSULTANT III (SPECIALIST) EXAMINATION

Thank you for your interest in a career, with the Department of Health Care Services.  This is a Training and Experience examination for the Nurse Consultant (NC) III Specialist. This examination is designed to elicit information relevant to successful performance in the job of a NC III (Specialist), with the Department of Health Care Services.

The testing office will accept applications continuously.  However, pre-established filing dates are scheduled every two months.  The filing dates are:

June 30, 2022     August 31, 2022     October 31, 2022     December 30, 2022

Candidates are required to submit the following two items by the established filing date:

      1.  Examination/Employment Application (STD 678): The STD 678 must be completed and submitted via one of the methods indicated below. Completed applications must be received or postmarked by one of the cut-off dates.  Applications postmarked or personally delivered after the cut-off date will be held and processed in the next examination administration.  

      2.  Training and Experience Evaluation: The Training and Experience Evaluation must be completed by taking the SurveyMonkey examination below. In order to obtain a position on the eligible list, a minimum rating of 70% must be attained.  Successful candidates will be placed, in score order, on the eligibility list.
