ARS Parent Participation

Our community is built on our volunteers! There are many ways to get involved in the community; our goal is 100% participation!

Volunteer participation is a vital part of Jewish life and Jewish education. We greatly appreciate any and all volunteers. If you are new to volunteering, don’t worry, staff will be available to answer your questions, and most volunteer jobs are not too time-consuming. Getting involved is a great way to meet other parents, get a peek into our classrooms, and have fun with your child(ren) and other members of the TOS community!

Event Planning: Assist with planning and implementation of grade-wide ARS Shabbat dinners (a new and exciting initiative for 2016-2017!) and/or other social events for the ARS community

Social Action: Assist with choosing and planning social action initiatives for families to do together, including Mitzvah Day and Family Mitzvah Team

Grade Parent: Work with other parents in your child’s grade to nurture class cohesion and support the teachers

School Committee: Assist with oversight and management of the Ansin Religious School

Kayla's Caring Community: Provide support (meals, play dates, errands, etc.) for families in the community who are experiencing a new baby, prolonged health problems, or bereavement.

Team Ziti: Get together with friends and congregants for cooking parties (in order to provide meals for families in the community who need help)
