Tips from Former Smokers Partnership

The AOA has joined forces with the CDC to help it implement the “Tips from Former Smokers” campaign and promote smoking cessation. The AOA is seeking physician partners who are interested in using the campaign materials in their practice, tracking smoking cessation conversations with patients, and helping the AOA and CDC better understand current smoking cessation efforts by care teams. Physicians will also share feedback on Tips materials with AOA and CDC. CDC is especially interested in feedback on how materials are used in team-based care settings. Physicians who successfully participate will be recognized by the AOA on a variety channels including The DO, Doctors That DO, our social media channels, and potentially The JAOA.
