During the last Summit for information and democracy on the margins of the UN General Assembly in September 2023, the Forum on Information and Democracy announced the creation of the International Observatory on Information and Democracy (IOID) aimed to aggregate and synthesize existing research and offer policymakers a periodic global assessment of information and communication space and how it impacts democracy.

We are very pleased to invite you to participate in the consultation process of the Observatory. This is the first step towards creating a Stakeholder's Advisory Group composed of policymakers, representatives of regulatory bodies, academia, civil society, and tech platforms. This consultative body aims to make recommendations on the priority themes of the Observatory’s inaugural report and share good practices with the Steering Committee in charge of overseeing its publication.

We thank you for taking the time to respond to our survey. Your feedback is important to collect your recommendations regarding priority issues to be addressed by the Observatory, and to share your interest in participating in this initiative.

It will only take you 15 minutes to respond to this survey.
