VAND 2022 Award Nominations

Each year the Vermont Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics invites its members to nominate individuals and organizations deserving of recognition. Details about the award criteria are available at https://www.eatrightvt.org/page/awards. Nominations must be received by midnight on Friday, March 18, 2022. We will follow up with you for additional information if necessary.

Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year - VAND member who is under 35 years old on May 1, 2022

Recognized Nutrition and Dietetic Technician of the Year - VAND member recognized for outstanding service

Emerging Dietetic Leader - VAND member in practice for more than 5, less than 10 years (became an RD between 1/1/2012 and 1/1/2017)

Outstanding Dietitian of the Year -VAND member recognized for 5 years or more of outstanding service

The Karen Newman Award - a dietetics professional or member of the community or an organization that has had a significant impact on the nutritional well-being of Vermonters. Considered a mentor or inspiration, has overcome adversity or helped someone else do so, and has worked on behalf of underserved or disadvantaged Vermonters.
