Virtual Programming

The Music & Arts Center is considering several virtual program options for the summer and beyond, and we are requesting your feedback to ensure we are putting the best programs together for your family.

*We would run all virtual programming through password protected Zoom meetings, and all virtual classes/camps/lessons would be run and broadcast out of the MAC's studio. We have put together a multi-cam studio in our Back Room, complete with studio lights, professional microphones, and more to ensure we can give youth the best virtual educational experience possible.

* 2. Structurally, what type of virtual classes/instruction would you be interested in? *Select all that apply.

A series of classes that meets once a week. For example, a four-week Drawing class that would meet four times (every Wednesday at 3 pm for example) to go over multiple drawing skills/techniques that build off each other.

A more in-depth summer camp style class that would pack information into a single week. For example, an Animal Art camp that would meet virtually M - TH from 10 - 11 am. The next week would be a different topic, and you could pick and choose which "camps" you'd like to attend.

Stand-alone, unrelated classes with no commitment to attend multiple sessions. For example, a Sculpting class one week, a painting class the next week, a digital music class the next week, etc. You could pick and choose which stand-alone classes you would want to attend. (This is what we are currently doing).

A well-rounded/more academic weekly series of classes/instruction. For example, a class that meets M - F at 3 pm to go over a different topic every day. Monday could focus on Math & Science projects. Tuesday could focus on Reading. Wednesday could focus on Health & Fitness. Thursday could focus on Art & Music. Friday could be full of fun projects. Each week could be themed differently to keep projects engaging over time. For example, one week could be Space-themed, another could be Dinosaur-themed, another could be Cars/Planes/Trains-themed, etc.
