Thank you for your interest in nominating a guest lecturer for SIAM’s Visiting Lecturer Program!

The Visiting Lecturer Program was established to provide SIAM student members and chapters with access to a robust network of experienced government and industry professionals, across the diverse fields of applied mathematics and computational science.

As you consider potential nominations, please note that Visiting Lecturers volunteer their time with the goal of enriching the educational experience of SIAM's student community. Ideal lecturers are those who can deliver clear, engaging, and accessible presentations and are comfortable presenting to student audiences.

SIAM’s student members and chapters reflect our diverse, global community. Accordingly, we welcome nominations of lecturers from across our international network, including those who are open to presenting virtually. Nominations for lecturers who are willing to present in person are also encouraged, though in-person participation is not a requirement of the program.
