SPN is seeking subject matter experts to participate in our new 12-month Leadership Skills Development Program, launching in January 2024, aimed at providing leadership skills to aspiring, emerging, and current frontline pediatric nurse leaders. The program will have a monthly activity, including webinars, led by SPN subject matter experts.

Serving as a volunteer subject matter expert (SME) provides you with the opportunity to create a presentation and develop a learning activity to engage participants. Your expertise, energy, and time will have a direct impact on educating and cultivating the next generation of pediatric nurse leaders. In total, commitment to the project will require the development and presentation of approximately 60 minutes of live content per topic area. All SMEs will receive support from SPN's Director of Programs, Tina Spagnola, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, NE-BC, to create the content and plan the presentation, and a small honoraria will be paid.

SME information will be reviewed in early August, and SPN's Director of Programs will reach out to coordinate next steps in mid-August, 2023.
