April Dose Saver
All Adults (18+) are now eligible to receive the vaccine
Hello Dose Savers!
For our April Dose Saver list you must:
--Live or work in Woodford, Peoria or Tazewell counties.
--Be an Adult (18+)
A Dose Saver is a person who is willing to get the vaccine as soon as possible with last-minute notice.
You would be "saving doses" to fill in the time slots of people that may not show up for their appointment or cannot come due to weather to ensure that none of the vaccine goes to waste.
--Please keep in mind these are calls that need to be made quickly. --We will call from our office line (starts with 467) and we will not leave a message. --If you can not make it or do not answer, that's ok. WCHD may call you on another day, or you can still get the vaccine later on when additional clinics are scheduled. --If you do get an appointment or receive the vaccine somewhere else or through one of our regularly scheduled clinics, after signing up for WCHD Dose Saver (Yay!), please return to this list and delete your name. That would save us time and unnecessary phone calls.
Signing up for the "WCHD Dose Saver Program" does not guarantee you will receive a vaccine or reserve your spot at a future clinic. WCHD staff will reach out to you if a dose saver spot becomes available.
