Bylaws
The bylaws are a legal document that defines NAHN as an association, contains the duties and rights of members, and provides authorization for governance to the Board of Directors on behalf of the membership. The bylaws differ from operational policies and procedures; please consider that distinction as you submit your proposed amendments or comments.

Amendments
NAHN voting members are invited to recommend amendments or comment on amendments proposed by others. Amendments may also be proposed by the Board of Directors and the Bylaws Committee.

The Bylaws Committee will prepare the final amendment document, considering all amendments received. Amendments require approval by the Bylaws Committee, a review by the Board of Directors, and a majority vote of approval by members.
