The RM of Longlaketon No. 219 has been struggling to police the garbage transfer stations as they are being misused by ratepayers and non-ratepayers.  The bins are for bagged household garbage only, however, there is continually construction garbage placed in the bins or dumped on the ground around the bins, there is unbagged garbage that is found scattered through the fields/property surrounding the bins, and non-ratepayers using the bins which the RM 219 ratepayers are paying for.  We have many ratepayers that currently have their own Loraas garbage bins in their yards and pay for this service on their own, at the RM's discounted rate.
  
We would like to ask for ratepayer input before proceeding to make a plan for garbage disposal moving forward.
