The SPARK Program at University of Sydney (SPARK Sydney) offers a unique partnership between university researchers and industry experts.

Critical eligibility criteria include, but is not limited to:
YOUR PROJECT
- therapeutic or drug-discovery innovations with identified University of Sydney IP
- solves an unmet need of significance to human health, with potential for implementation in clinical practice
- has current and ongoing funding/resourcing for the length of the program
YOUR TEAM
- led by a University of Sydney researcher (level C or above) employed for the duration of the 18-month program
- minimum of 2 additional team members
- all team members and lead commit to attending in person: the 2 day Bootcamp in August and a minimum of 80% of the quarterly education sessions and monthly mentor catchups

Team Member Information
You need a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 research team members to participate in the SPARK program.
All team members must commit to attending the 2 day Bootcamp in person and 80% of the in person quarterly education blocks and monthly mentoring catchups.

Applications where the team has an existing relationship with and access to a clinician are strongly encouraged. While clinicians are typically involved in regular team catch‑ups, their attendance is not mandatory to the same extent as other team members. See Question 12.
