Your input is needed to help the DC Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) most effectively support building owners, operators, contractors, developers, and designers in meeting the District’s green building requirements and ambitious policy and code developments. You have been selected for this survey through coordinated outreach to key District professionals in these roles.

This survey is being conducted by a team led by the Institute for Market Transformation, with support from Arup, the Building Energy Exchange, New Buildings Institute, and Steven Winter Associates. DOEE has selected this team to develop and operate a high-performance building innovation and training hub that will identify the high-impact needs of the District and its practitioners in its meeting of short- and long-term green building and climate goals. A key part of this work is understanding from practitioners what the opportunities, barriers, and needs are to achieve more widespread adoption of high-performance buildings across the District.

Your feedback collected here will help the Hub team, as well as DOEE, identify critical barriers to those pursuing high-performance and low-energy design, construction, and operations practices, and will help shape the Hub’s initial program and service offerings to industry practitioners.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
