The purpose of the Social and Emotional Learning Guidance Document is to assist higher education curriculum developers with incorporating the Illinois Social and Emotional Learning Standards into educator preparation programs as now mandated in Part 25, Section 25.115 (Certification) and highlight some additional resources. This guidance document is intended to be an entrance point for faculty and the strategies within should be adapted to fit the unique context of the institution.
