*1.You are invited by Vancouver Island University’s External Relations office to participate in the viu.ca Website Survey. This survey will be used to understand how people use viu.ca, what works well and what needs to improve. Your responses will inform recommendations for improving the website. The information you provide will not be used for any other purpose.

Completing this survey is optional. If you decide to take part, you may choose which questions to answer and you may stop at any time before completing the survey.

Responding to all questions will take about 10 to 15 minutes.

This survey is anonymous. No personal data, such as names, email addresses, IP addresses or other identifying details are collected. Only authorized personnel from VIU External Relations and Northern, the external partner supporting this project, will have access to raw data. Responses cannot be linked to individuals. However, your anonymity cannot be guaranteed if you identify yourself through written comments.

Your written comments may be used for reporting purposes. Information you provide in your comments that may identify you will be removed to the extent possible.

Prize draw

After filling out the survey, you will have the opportunity to enter into a prize draw. To maintain the anonymity of survey responses, contact information for the prize draw will be collected through a separate form after survey completion. Entry into the draw is voluntary and cannot be linked to your survey responses. Any personal information is being collected under the authority of Section 26(e) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA).
