Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference 2026 - ASHM Scholarship Application form for NT/NSW/QLD HBV s100 prescribers (GP/ NP/Primary care)

Scholarship information

ASHM has been funded by NT Health, NSW Health and Queensland Health, respectively, to offer a limited number of scholarships to attend the 16th Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference 2026. These scholarships are available to community s100 hepatitis B prescribers (GP/NP/Primary care) who work and are based in NT, NSW or QLD.

It is expected that this application will take 6 minutes to complete.

The conference will be held on Wednesday, 12 August - Friday, 14 August 2026 in Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges, Walyalup, Western Australia.

Scholarship criteria
Scholarships will be made available to clinicians actively involved in management and treatment of chronic hepatitis B. Clinicians must be based in and work in NT, NSW or QLD to be eligible for a scholarship.

Priority will be given to applicants who have not attended a viral hepatitis conference in Australia before.

All applicants must complete the application truthfully and advise ASHM if their situation changes. All scholarship holders may be asked to report back from the conference (according to specific guidelines).


Scholarship exclusions
Scholarship applicants will be excluded if they have access to the following:
  • Funds from a research grant to cover attendance at this meeting
  • Access to TESL OR an equivalent professional development fund
  • Funding from a pharmaceutical or other industry partner
  • Financial support from your employer
Note on applications: All applicants must complete the application truthfully and advise ASHM if their situation changes.

Please Note: Reimbursements cannot be provided for registration that has been already paid for. We will book and pay for these directly to the supplier on your behalf to fulfil the requirements of the grants.
