Prix Albertine Jeunesse 2027 - French Dual Language and Immersion Schools

Registration for the 9th Edition!

Bilingual literary prize for French dual language immersion schools in North America.

This initiative seeks to encourage and reinforce the practice and love of bilingual reading for young students of French immersion schools, while considering the specificity of their context living in an Anglophone country. The selected books serve as a means for developing links between French, the “academic language” of students’ school environments, and English, the language of the students’ environment outside of school.


The timeline:
September 2026
-Registration via this online form (open until December 16, 2026).
December 2026
-Online availability of pedagogic resources in French and in English
From registration to April 2027
-Studying of books in classes (with support from the online pedagogic resources).
Between April and to May, 2027
Voting of classes online.
June 2027
Publication of voting results per each category of books.
