250 Discovery Map 2026 Discover the Story.

Presented by the Fairfax County Park Authority, Fairfax County 250th Commission and the Fairfax County Park Foundation.

Discovery Map 2026 is a free, self-guided adventure that invites you to explore Fairfax County parks, historic sites, nature centers and recreation facilities as part of the Fairfax250 celebration.  Discover the people, places and stories that helped shape Fairfax County.  How to Participate 
<ul>
<li>Visit at least eight of the parks</li>
<li>Answer the question listed for each park</li>
<li>Once answers are completed for at least eight parks you will receive an email confirmation.</li>
<li>Bring your email confirmation (printed or electronically) in person to either Frying Pan Farm Park, Lake Accotink Park, Cub Run Rec Center, Franconia Rec Center or Providence Rec Center or online to receive an amusement prize packet and enter for the grand prize drawing.</li>
</ul>
Please limit submissions to one per person. Twelve grand prize winners will be selected and notified in September.
