Join our team! The Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange, Inc. (MARE) team is thrilled to be an Official Charity for the 2026 ASICS Falmouth Road Race, which takes place on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 8AM. This amazing race follows a scenic, 7-mile route along the Cape Cod shoreline and draws over 11,000 runners every year!

There are two ways to join MARE’s team this year!

Charity Runners: MARE’s Charity Runners receive one of the organization’s nonprofit bibs and commit to fundraise $1,500 to support MARE’s work on behalf of the 1,400 Massachusetts youth who are currently in foster care with a goal of adoption. No registration fee.  

Official Participant: Already have a number as a Registered Runner or Wheelchair or Wheelchair Duo participant? You can join the MARE team by fundraising a minimum of $500 to support MARE’s work to make life-changing connections for youth in foster care. Participants are responsible for their own registration and standard race fee. The race random selection process opens on May 8th.

All team members will receive a MARE team shirt and swag and be a part of our team-building events. In addition, all members will have a personalized fundraising page through the road race, along with fundraising and marketing support from MARE and the Falmouth Road Race.

- If selected, I will make a $50 team fee payment onto my Race Roster Charity fundraising page. This will count towards my minimum fundraising requirement & will set the tone for others who support me (we'll provide instructions to help you set up your page).  

- If selected for one of the Charity Runner Bibs, I will complete the official ASICS Falmouth Road Race online registration form. I understand there is no charity registration fee required of me.  

- I will raise $1,500 to support MARE as detailed in this application (or $500 if I already have an entry from another source).

- If injured or unable to run, I remain responsible for raising or donating the funds I have agreed to raise.

- I will follow all ASICS Falmouth Road Race rules.

Release form and contribution agreement: In consideration of my accepting this entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrator, waive and release any and all claims and damages I may have against the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange, Inc. (MARE) and its employees, volunteers, representatives, and consultants for any and all injuries suffered or sustained by me in said event and in the training of said event or travel to and from (if applicable) any of the preceding. I further attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for competition in this event.

I also grant permission for use of my name and/or photograph or voice in broadcast, telecast, print or any other account of this event and agree to waive compensation for such use.

If selected, I will complete the ASICS Falmouth Road Race supplemental race registration, and I agree to collect a fundraising minimum of $1,500 for Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange, Inc. (MARE), or $500 if I already have an entry through other official means, by August 16, 2026. I fully understand that Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange, Inc. (MARE) reserves the right to charge the balance I owe (if any) to my credit card.
