Teaching Africa and the Cold War: Registration

This workshop aims to introduce teachers to the content knowledge and pedagogical approaches necessary to teach modern African history, by looking specifically at the history of the Cold War through African experiences. It will focus on the experiences of the Cold War in Ghana, South Africa, Ethiopia, and Somalia, and will help you to integrate African perspectives into your curriculum.

The workshop costs £20 for non-teachers, and is free for teachers. A £20 deposit is required for teachers to secure their place, and the £20 deposit will be returned to teachers upon attendance of the workshop.
