2021 My FED Farm Garden Volunteers Hi everyone!Thank you for your interest in volunteering with My FED Farm! We have a lot to accomplish this spring to get 500 gardens out to residents in Greater Victoria and could not complete this work without awesome volunteers like you! We are currently looking for the following volunteer support: We have a great need for volunteers with vehicles who can help transport and set up the My FED Farm garden kits around Greater Victoria. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please proceed with the following survey Volunteers to support with the oddball tasks that arise such as distributing seeds into packets or answering garden questions in our Facebook group. If this sounds like a better fit, please complete this survey instead. We would also be happy to hear about any additional skills that you have that you think could benefit this project! For our volunteers who have vehicles to assist with the delivery and setup of the My FED Farm gardens at residents’ homes and community spaces in Greater Victoria, volunteer days take place on Thursdays and Fridays in May and June between 8:30am and 3:00pm. Our garden volunteers will be responsible for: Picking up garden supplies at TOPSOIL (Vic West) Delivering and assisting with setup at community members homes/neighbourhood gardens Providing an orientation to residents (we will provide you with the information you need) Return garden supplies to TOPSOIL The health and safety our community members and volunteers is extremely important to us. All volunteers will be working individually or with someone from their own household.
