Thank you for agreeing to take part in this survey. The aim of this survey is to understand the experiences and challenges that you and your children have faced since the crisis in Ukraine began and what assistance and policy changes Save the Children can deliver to help improve the day to day lives of people like yourselves in the next few months.

 

The survey is split into two parts. First, we would like to ask you a few questions as the guardian or caregiver of a Ukrainian child. In the second part of the survey, we would like to ask some questions directly to the child or children you are with if they are 12 years old or older.  At this point, we will ask you to hand over the computer, phone or tablet to the child to complete the survey.

 

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes. Please be assured that all of your responses will be treated in the strictest confidence. Your name will not appear with your response and will only be reported as part of a group.

 

Participation in this survey is voluntary, and you can end the survey at any time if you decide you don’t want to take part. Participation or your answers will not impact any services that you may receive from Save the Children or other organisations. The findings from this survey will be used in a report which will be public, and Save the Children can use findings from it for communications and media.

 

The risks related to participating in this research may include you or your child feeling sadness or anxiety after some of the questions if you find the topics difficult. The information from this study will be used to inform design of programmes and to influence decision making in European countries where Ukrainian refugees are currently staying.

 

All of the information you provide will be stored securely and deleted at the end of the study in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Save the Children’s  Privacy Statement. You can end the survey at any time if you change your mind about participating.
