General Information
The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) is convening committees to assist in maintaining the quality and integrity of the development of the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments-Adaptive (NJSLA-A) for English Language Arts and Mathematics, and the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment-Adaptive (NJGPA-A). To continue this effort, NJDOE is seeking nominations from school districts for a diverse and experienced pool of educators to participate on the following committees for the NJSLA-S, NJSLA-A, and NJGPA-A programs:
- English Language Arts Content Development and Review Committee
- Mathematics Content Development and Review Committee
The time commitment for each committee varies and the committee members will receive notification once selected. Please see the broadcast announcement for a brief description of each committee. A complete listing of meeting dates will be provided in due course.
All participants under contract with a district will be reimbursed for mileage and tolls (as appropriate), and the participant’s district will receive a stipend for substitute teacher costs. Those participants not under contract with their district will receive the honorarium per day, as well as reimbursement for mileage and tolls.
