The Vermont Division for Historic Preservation Office (VDHP) is initiating a statewide planning process that examines historic resource conditions and preservation practices across the state. The resulting five-year plan identifies significant issues affecting historic resources, proposes realistic goals and strategies for those issues, and sets priorities for preservation action in Vermont.

This process is dependent on input from the public, preservation professionals, owners of historic properties, federal and state agencies, local governments, academics, nonprofit partners, and many others. VDHP asks for your participation to determine which goals are most important and what challenges we might face as we work to preserve the heritage of the State We Love.

Acting as the Vermont State Historic Preservation Office, VDHP is located within the Department of Housing and Community Development in the Agency of Commerce and Community Development.
