At Ontario Shores, we have worked with youth to co-develop a virtual workshop series for young people (aged 12-18) that can support your mental health and explores relationships. Building Better Relationships is part of the Ontario Shores Recovery High School, a program for youth, by youth, to support mental health in young people.
What will we do?
Relationships can be complicated—but they don’t always have to be!
Through open discussion and fun activities, this virtual workshop series gives you practical tools to handle conflict, recognize helpful vs. unhelpful connections, strengthen self-esteem, prevent miscommunication, and navigate friendships/romantic relationships with confidence.
Dates: Wednesday March 25th, April 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd (every Wednesday)
Time: 5:00-6:30 pm on Zoom!
Please fill out this quick form to register! Participants will receive an Ontario Shores Certificate of Completion once the workshop series has ended. Hours attended can be used towards volunteer hours!
Please reach out to the Recovery College Implementation and Evaluation Coordinator, Samiha Bari, with any questions at baris@ontarioshores.ca or 905-430-4055 ext. 6477.
