Fall 2020

Training Summary:
This virtual 8 week training will offer 20 hours of live zoom workshops as well as 20 hours of independent study and partner practice. The training will kick off on Wednesday, October 7th with orientation and continue with six, 3 hour Saturday workshops- concluding on November 21st.

The training is led by staff with the Healing Harms department.  Staff will support the volunteer team in strengthening and practicing the skills necessary to be a restorative justice facilitator for cases diverted from juvenile justice related systems (police departments & district attorneys), families, group homes, community members, community organizations and workplace environments at-large. Through this training, you will gain a deepened understanding of restorative justice philosophy and practical experience co-facilitating circles for our referral programs. Learn how to create a space for families and community to come together and collectively determine meaningful healing steps when harm or conflict occurs.
