Welcome to the OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) K-5 and 6-8 pages resource collection survey. Responses to the OMJ annual survey the
past few years have indicated a desire to develop age appropriate content for K-5 and 6-8 audiences. Because of a new contract
award, we now have that opportunity.
In the following questions you’ll be asked to provide both the name of a specific resource as well as the Uniform Resource
Locator (URL) or web address of where that resource can be found.
When providing the web address, please remember to provide the address that will allow a student to directly access the
application or recommended resource. Web addresses that open to a separate web-page which
requires further navigation to find the intended resource will only discourage our students. Our intent is for a student to click on a graphic depiction of a resource within OhioMeansJobs and have the application open in a different tab – no further navigation
required.
Finding resources appropriate for the K-5 and 6-8 audiences has been difficult and we at the Career Connections team greatly
appreciate your willingness to contribute to this work and helping us make OhioMeansJobs a better website for all students in
Ohio.
