Have access to, or willing to purchase a range of art making materials and equipment Both Art subjects require a commitment to work independently on your art making for a minimum of 3 hours per week. Be willing to commit a minimum of 2 hours per week to art theory and coursework. Creative Practice: In Unit 2, be willing to collaborate with your peers to create work Be willing to offer your work for a Critique and use the feedback to develop your work. Be willing to research and respond to other artist’s practice Making and Exhibiting Be willing to attend excursions to a range of Museums and Galleries. Be willing to share your work for a Critique and use feedback from a critique to develop your work. Question Title * 4. In both of these subjects, you will be required to use at least 3 art making materials and equipment. Please tick off what you have access to, from the following list. Paints and brushes. (Either watercolor, oil, acrylic, gouache, or enamel) Pastels (Oil or Dry) Charcoal and graphite Pencils (not just one, but a range, ie, various grey leads 2B,6B, 9B. Coloured variations as well. Camera and tripod, this can be phone equipment but preferably one that you can explore both aperture and shutter options. Having access to an editing program is also important if exploring photography. Digital Art Making programs and tools. This can be working on a laptop using Photoshop, or GIMP (free program), or even an iPad, using a program such as Procreate. Markers, fineliners, textas, posca or copic. Printmaking supplies: lino and carving tools, with appropriate inks and rollers. General Stationary, pens, paper, scissors, glue, sticky tape. Question Title * 5.
