Introduction

The State of Connecticut is currently conducting an Equity Study across all state agencies. The study will identify patterns of discrimination, inequality, or disparities in outcomes for members of underserved communities and make recommendations for improvement.

Underserved communities are those who have been systematically denied opportunities to participate in economic, social, and civic life, such as Black, Latino, and Indigenous and Native American persons; Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and other persons of color; members of religious minorities; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer persons; persons with disabilities; persons who live in rural areas; and persons otherwise affected by persistent poverty or inequality.

The State of Connecticut would like to gather feedback and personal experiences from Connecticut residents, particularly members of underserved communities and users of state services. If you are interested in providing input, please complete the following questions. Your responses will be anonymous.
