2.Everyone has different motivations for wanting to protect and care for the natural world. Which of these do you most identify with?

We need healthy land and water in order to support the health of our human communities.

Being outside brings me peace, and I want to ensure that I have places close to home to experience the natural world.

The trails are how I keep myself fit and healthy. They're my gym!

I want to make sure my children (or future generations in general) have a thriving planet and places to fall in love with nature, just like I did.

It's our responsibility to ensure that the native plants and wildlife have the land they need in order to thrive.

8.The Land Trust does a wide variety of work related to our mission of engaging communities in conserving, caring for, and accessing the natural lands and waters that sustain North Central Washington. Which one of these are you most familiar with?

Acquiring important natural land for conservation in Chelan and Douglas Counties, and caring for those lands.

Purchasing conservation easements from willing private landowners to ensure their lands will remain healthy habitat for fish, wildlife and wildflowers.

Educating our community on the beauty and wonder of our local natural world and how they can care for it.

Maintaining trail systems that ensure the public will always be able to experience these natural lands.

Working with local and regional elected officials, agencies, tribes, and interest groups to ensure our local lands and waters are well-cared for.

11.Bequests left to the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust by people in their wills are of enormous benefit to our work to help protect and care for the land, water and trails in our area. Many people like to leave money in their will or trust to CDLT. Have you included a gift to CDLT in your will?

Yes, I already have included CDLT in my will.

I intend to include the Land Trust when I make or revise my will.

12.Each fall, the Land Trust holds a fundraiser to ensure the following year will be a success for local land & water conservation. Matching donors pledge to double each gift that comes in before December 31. Would you consider a gift of $1,000 or more towards this matching goal to encourage fellow members to support this work?
